Fitness @ The Cube offers a wide variety of specialty group classes. Below are class descriptions:

Barre with Suspension Trainers

Take your barre workout up at notch by using suspension trainers! This class will challenge your balance, core, and cardiovascular endurance while building strength and muscle tone from head-to-toe.

Plié & Pulse

This custom class is uniquely offered at Fitness @ The Cube. The workout consists of fusion of between dance conditioning, Pilates, yoga, and other athletic movements that will help you build strength and endurance while improving your flexibility and balance. You will definitely break a sweat and a smile during this fun, full-body workout!

Pilates Mat

Think Pilates is slow and boring? Think again! That is not the way Joseph Pilates intended it! It is an invigorating and powerful workout! Contrary to popular belief, this is not just an “abs” class. You will work your entire body and will learn how to move your entire body smarter and more freely by anchoring with your muscles. These low-impact yet challenging exercises will help you gain flexibility, improve spinal health, and will tone and strengthen your entire body.

Pilates with Suspension Trainers

Pilates with Suspension Trainers (TRX Pilates) is a challenging fusion between an athletic TRX class an invigorating Pilates mat class. Using the straps to mimic Pilates apparatus, you be challenged in entirely new ways! Not recommended for beginners.

Suspension Training

Suspension training (TRX) is a challenging, athletic workout that increases strength, endurance, agility, balance, and flexibility. Using your own bodyweight for resistance against a pair of straps, you will get a full-body workout as well as get your cardio for the day!

Zumba

The Zumba program fuses hypnotic Latin rhythms and easy-to-follow moves to create a one-of-a-kind fitness program that will blow you away. Our goal is simple: We want you to want to work out, to love working out, to get hooked. Zumba fanatics achieve long-term benefits while experiencing an absolute blast in one exciting hour of calorie-burning, body-energizing, awe-inspiring movements meant to engage and captivate for life!

The routines feature interval training sessions where fast and slow rhythms and resistance training are combined to tone and sculpt your body while burning fat. Add some Latin flavor and international zest into the mix and you’ve got a Zumba® class!

When participants see a Zumba class in action, they can’t wait to give it a try. Zumba classes feature exotic rhythms set to high-energy Latin and international beats. Before participants know it, they’re getting fit and their energy levels are soaring! There’s no other fitness class like a Zumba Fitness-Party. It’s easy to do, effective and totally exhilarating, often building a deep-rooted community among returning students.

Zumba Toning

This class is perfect for those who want to party, but put extra emphasis on toning and sculpting to define those muscles!

The challenge of adding resistance by using Zumba® Toning Sticks (or light weights), helps you focus on specific muscle groups, so you (and your muscles) stay engaged!

Lightweight maraca-like Toning Sticks enhances sense of rhythm and coordination, while toning target zones, including arms, core and lower body.

STRONG by Zumba

This class is perfect for fitness enthusiasts and students looking for a more challenging, high intensity interval training workout.

With most workout programs, music is an afterthought. The music in STRONG by Zumba™was crafted to drive the intensity in a challenging progression that provides a total body workout. The result? A group fitness experience like no other.

Moving in sync with music makes you work harder. This class will push you past your plateaus to help you reach your fitness goals faster. Using your own body weight, you will gain muscular endurance, tone, and definition, and you will experience an increased afterburn.
